Stewart Davies

Chairman

Stewart was previously the Chief Executive Officer of BT Exact - BT’s research, technology and operations business - from 2001 to 2005. His career in BT spanned more than three decades, where his vital contributions included the development of early digital switching systems and the integration of BT’s national networks and associated customer service systems. In 2003, Stewart was responsible for the creation of Brightstar, BT’s technology incubator, which span out six technology businesses.

Andrew Paszkowski

Non-Executive Director

Andrew has over 25 years of general management experience in engineering, marketing and business development. He was a Project Director at Gulf Oil International and then joined Texaco as a Divisional Managing Director. In both companies, he was responsible for executing major start-up projects. He joined Nova in 2003, as Portfolio Director for the LICA portfolio. Andrew has a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, is a chartered engineer and holds a Master’s Degree in International Marketing.

Philip Agg

Chief Executive

As Chief Executive Officer, Philip is focused on further expanding Accentus Medical’s business through the development, production, licensing and exploitation of new technologies and specialist coatings to the orthopaedic and medical device manufacturing industry.

Prior to becoming Accentus Medical’s Chief Executive Officer, Philip was appointed Managing Director of Accentus plc in August 2003. At this time Accentus plc was a wholly owned subsidiary of AEA Technology plc (AEAT), a company specialising in the development and commercial exploitation of Intellectual Property portfolios. Previously, Philip held a range of management positions at AEAT where he started his career in 1990. As well as his experience in the orthopaedic and medical device market, Philip has led a range of multi-million pound international service businesses operating in the nuclear, oil & gas, chemical, transportation and defence markets.

Philip has a Master’s Degree and PhD in Chemistry from Cambridge University, a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Warwick Business School, and became a Chartered Director in 2007.
